Rare earth market quotation in China: terbium oxide, dysprosium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide prices keep rising on September 15, 2021. With the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day approaching, downstream users' enthusiasm for stocking up and the output of rare earth smelting and separation companies slightly reduced are all reasons for the increase in the prices of mainstream products.
In addition, countries such as Myanmar have greater geological risks, making my country's rare earth import difficult, which to a certain extent can help suppliers to raise their quotations. The sharp drop in prices of NdPr and Dysprosium terbium products in the early stage is also the main reason for the recent increase in profit-making awareness of holders.
However, the decline in sales of automobiles, excavators, loaders and other products in August will more or less affect the trading confidence of traders. In addition, the listing prices of Northern Rare Earth will follow the market this month, which will also interfere with consumers' purchasing psychology to a certain extent. The listing price of Northern Rare Earth in September showed that neodymium praseodymium oxide was reduced by 10,000 yuan/ton from the listing price in August, neodymium praseodymium metal was decreased by 12,000 yuan/ton, neodymium oxide was decreased by 8,000 yuan/ton, and neodymium metal was decreased by 10,000 yuan/ton.
The listing prices of Southern Rare Earth this week shows that gadolinium oxide is 2.5-25.5 million yuan/ton, which is an increase of 0.3-0.5 million yuan/ton from the previous quotation; terbium oxide is 8.2-8.3 million yuan/ton, which is an increase of 450,000 yuan/ton from the previous quotation; dysprosium oxide is 263-268 million yuan/ton, which is increased by 80,000 yuan/ton from the last quotation; holmium oxide is 910-93 million yuan/ton, which is increased by 10,000 yuan/ton from the last quotation; erbium oxide is 203,000-20.8 million yuan/ton, up from the previous quotation by 10 thousand yuan/ton.
