China’s GTA Lowered Down Average tungsten Forecast Prices for September

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online
China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA)’s average tungsten forecast prices for September and long-term contract prices from stat-owned tungsten companies for the first half of this month were released as following:
GTA quoted 55% black tungsten concentrate at $17,142.9/ton, down $555.6/ton from August; ammonium paratungstate (APT) at 294.1/mtu, down $9.0/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder at 40.6/kg, down $1.1/kg from last month.
Zhangyuan Tungsten’s offers for black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) was $17,142.9/ton, down $396.8/ton compared with the second half of August; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was $16,904.8/ton, down $396.8/ton; APT was $294.1/mtu, down $7.2/mtu.
Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT at $292.4/mtu, a decrease of $7.2/mtu from the second half of August.
Jiangxi Tungsten released its offer for high grade black tungsten concentrate at $17,619/mtu, down $4.5/mtu.
