Rare earth market quotation in China: DyFe and dysprosium oxide prices decline slightly while other products keep stable on September 23, 2021. Under the influence of many uncertain factors, the market is in a stalemate. However, due to the support of production costs and the expected improvement of downstream industry development, the room for suppliers to make price is limited.

From the supply side, due to factors such as high temperature and rainy weather, stricter environmental protection policies, multiple power restrictions and the rebound of the epidemic, the production of rare earth smelting enterprises has been greatly affected, so the release of production capacity is relatively slow; from the demand side, Although downstream users are not very enthusiastic about inquiries and purchases recently, in the context of dual-carbon, downstream demand for rare earths such as new energy vehicles, wind power, and inverter air conditioners is expected to increase.

The listing price of Southern Rare Earth in China this week showed that the listing price of samarium oxide was 13,000 to 13,500 yuan/ton; europium oxide was 205,000 to 205,000 yuan/ton; gadolinium oxide was 257,000 to 260,000 yuan/ton, and the average price was increased by 7,000 yuan/ton. The listing price of terbium oxide is 8.4~8.5 million yuan/ton, and the average price is increased by 200,000 yuan/ton; dysprosium oxide is 2.65 to 2.7 million yuan/ton, and the average price is increased by 20,000 yuan/ton; holmium oxide is 96~ 980,000 yuan/ton, with an average price increase of 50,000 yuan/ton; erbium oxide is 203,000 to 208,000 yuan/ton; ytterbium oxide is 130,000 to 135,000 yuan/ton; lutetium oxide is 510,000 to 515,000 yuan/tons; yttrium oxide is 39,000 to 41,000 yuan/ton; scandium oxide is 900,000 to 905,000 yuan/ton.
