China’s domestic rare earth market generally shows a sideways pattern. In the context of the slower entry of downstream rare earth separation plants and magnetic material companies into the market, the cautious sentiment is particularly strong in the market. In addition to the hindrance of the upward adjustment of supplier quotations, the transaction volume is also hard to conclude.
The current price of terbium oxide is about 6,700 yuan/kg, dysprosium oxide price is about 2,480,000 yuan/ton, neodymium praseodymium oxide price is about 485,000 yuan/ton, and neodymium praseodymium price is about 605,000 yuan/ton. However, due to the high temperature and rainy weather, the mining difficulty coefficient of rare earth smelting enterprises has increased, resulting in a slight slowdown in the release of production capacity, which is conducive to the warming of the market.
Recently, an investment agreement was signed with the Huaining County Economic Development Zone for the 2000-ton rare earth permanent magnet material project newly introduced by the Science and Economic Bureau of Huaining County, Anhui Province. The total planned investment of the project is 100 million yuan, of which 30 million yuan is invested in fixed assets; it plans to form a "full industry chain of rare earth permanent magnet materials" through investment expansion and organic integration of existing industrial resources.
