Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China’s state-owned tungsten enterprises raised their bid prices for the first half of July and association increased average tungsten forecast prices for this month in response to this round of price increase in domestic market. 

Xiamen Tungsten’s APT bid price was $269/mtu, up $8.1/mtu compared with the second half of June, 2021. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its bid prices for the first half of July: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at $15,793.7/tone, up $634.9/ton from the second half of June; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at $15,555.6/ton, up $634.9/ton; APT was quoted at $272.6/mtu, up $10.8/mtu from the second half of last month. 

Jiangxi Tungsten ‘s bid price for high-grade black tungsten concentrate was $15,793.7/ton, up 555.6/ton from late June. 

Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) released its average tungsten forecast prices for this month: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $15,793.7/ton, up $714.3/ton; APT price was $278/mtu, up $11.7/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $36.5/kg, unchanged from the second half of last month.
