Rare earth market quotation in China: neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal prices increase slightly while neodymium oxide price remains unchanged on July 12, 2021.
Increasing willingness of downstream users to receive goods, limited supply of some upstream products, and the imminent introduction of the "Rare Earth Regulations" are the main reasons for the improvement in the mentality of traders, and the prices of many products have risen accordingly. In addition, due to the outbreak of the Ruili epidemic in Yunnan, the quarantine requirements for imported goods have increased. This not only is not conducive to China's import of Myanmar rare earth products, but also increases additional costs, which can add a certain impetus to the rise of domestic rare earth product prices.
In terms of news: this month’s listing prices of Northern Rare Earth show that lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide prices have not changed from last month, and neodymium praseodymium oxide price has risen from 498,800 yuan/ton to 538,900 yuan/ton, an increase of 8.04%; neodymium oxide price has increased from 508,800 yuan/ton to 538,900 yuan/ton, an increase of 5.92%; metal neodymium praseodymium price rose from 614,000 yuan/ton to 662,000 yuan/ton, an increase of 7.82%; metal neodymium price rose from 626,000 yuan/ton to 662,000 yuan/ton, an increase of 5.75%.
