Molybdenum market quotation in China: sodium molybdate, ammonium molybdate and ammonium heptamolvbdate prices are unchanged from the previous trading day on July 7, 2021.
With some raw material inventories are not high, the volume and price of the international molybdenum market have risen and downstream users’ inquiries have increased, which has promoted the increase in the domestic market’s activity, and suppliers are reluctant to sell at low prices. The main reason for the increase is that the price of molybdenum may rise slightly again in the short term. However, affected by the weak demand from end customers, most molybdenum chemical companies have suspended their quotations, mostly cautiously waiting and watching, and high-level transactions are rare.
News: According to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the global manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) in June was 56.8%, a decrease of 0.4 percentage points from the previous month. In terms of sub-regions, the manufacturing PMI of India, Malaysia, and Vietnam dropped significantly from the previous month, while the Asian manufacturing PMI fell more than the previous month. The manufacturing PMI of Europe, America and Africa all fell from the previous month, and the decline was relatively small.
