Molybdenum market quotation in China: molybdenum concentrate, powder and bar prices are in the downward trend in the week began on Monday, July 05, 2021.
The weak consolidation of the international molybdenum market and the low bidding and procurement intentions of steel companies are the main reasons for the slight lack of confidence in the domestic market, and the quotations of molybdenum chemical companies have also been rationally lowered. The current price of molybdenum concentrate is about RMB 2,250/ton, the price of ferromolybdenum is around RMB 156,000/ton, the price of molybdenum oxide is consolidating at RMB 2,370/ton, and the price of molybdenum powder is around RMB 307/kg.
In the terms of news: international credit rating agencies stated that China's economy has entered a "mature stage" on the road to recovery. China's gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate will reach 8.4% in 2021 and 5.5% in 2022. It was also confirmed that China's sovereign credit rating is A+, and the rating outlook is stable.
