In the news: In early August, the social inventory of five major steel products in 20 cities was 11.91 million tons, a decrease of 120,000 tons from the previous month, a decrease of 1.0%; an increase of 4.61 million tons from the beginning of the year, an increase of 63.2%; a decrease of 500,000 tons from the same period last year, a decrease 4.0%. In terms of different regions, Central China decreased by 70,000 tons from the previous month, or 4.3%, and was the largest reduction region; Southwest China decreased by 60,000 tons, or 3.2%; South China decreased by 50,000 tons, or 1.8%; Northwest China, decreased by 30,000 tons, or 4.5. %; East China increased by 40,000 tons, an increase of 1.2%; Northeast China increased by 30,000 tons, an increase of 5.1%; North China increased by 20,000 tons, an increase of 1.7%.
