Rare earth market quotation in China: cerium oxide price continues to keep stable while terbium oxide and dysprosium oxide prices edge lower on September 9, 2021.
Under the influence of downstream magnetic material companies and separate companies basically maintaining the need to stock up, suppliers are still strong on the market, and the price increase is weak. However, due to the long period of time for the product price decline, coupled with the support of low production costs, the recent product price reduction has slowed down, and even the prices of individual products have risen slightly.
In addition, the political situation in Myanmar has changed again. The shadow government formed by the National League announced a war against the military government, which may lead to a decline in the export volume of Myanmar's rare earth mines, thereby stimulating the price of domestic medium and heavy rare earth products.
In the news: in August, China exported 3936.1 tons of rare earth commodities, with an export value of 340 million people; compared with the previous month, the export volume of rare earths was basically the same, and the export value decreased by 19%; compared with the same period last year, the export volume increased by 140% year-on-year. The amount increased by 100% year-on-year. From January to August, China exported 31717.1 tons of rare earths, a year-on-year increase of 30.1%; the cumulative export value was 2.70 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 63.7%.
