At the beginning of the week, China’s domestic rare earth market as a whole maintained a sideways trend. Under the influence of many uncertain factors, both the supply and demand sides had different sentiments when entering the market. Downstream users were more afraid of high prices, while suppliers were less willing to reduce prices.
From the perspective of favorable factors, the good development of the new energy industry, the strengthening of environmental protection crackdowns, the limited overseas imports, and the reduction of production capacity released by mining enterprises due to high temperature and rainy weather are all conducive to the rise of product prices; from the perspective of negative factors, downstream users are currently heavier resistance to high-priced goods and repeated global epidemics are not conducive to increasing market demand.
