Back pressure is an important factor affecting the quality of fine blanking parts.
Larger back pressure can increase the hydrostatic stress of the material in the deformation zone, inhibit tensile cracks, and help improve the quality of fine blanking parts. However, excessive back pressure will increase the load of the punch and reduce the service life of the stamping die.
Too small back pressure will affect the dimensional accuracy, flatness, collapse and shear surface quality of the stamping parts. The back pressure is small, the collapse angle of the fine-blanking parts is large, the surface of the stamping parts is not flat, and the middle is arched.
Therefore, as with the blank holder force, it must be adjusted to the lower limit as much as possible in the actual process under the premise of ensuring the quality of the stamping parts.
